About Me

My name is Jennifer. I am looking to help parents and caregivers with any parenting issues. I was a Kindergarten/1st grade teacher for 8 years. 3 1/2 years ago my husband and I became foster parents to two boys. They became free for adoption, so we became their forever family. They are now 12 and 17. Two years ago we got a call that there was a baby girl that needed picked up from the hospital. We took her into our home when she was 3 days old. She also became free for adoption, and is now officially our daughter. She is a very active 2-year old. This past fall, I decided to take a break from teaching to stay home with my daughter, so I now watch children in my home. I currently watch my 1-year old nephew and another 3-year old. I have lots of experience dealing with routines, behavior-issues, temper tantrums, ADHD, adjustment issues, etc. I am also a Christian, so you will find that influence in my advice. Please feel free to ask whatever questions you have.
